Performance Management - Overview
The more effectively information
technology is able to reliably support and protect business
goals and objectives, the greater its value to the organization.
Most large organizations today rely so heavily on their
networked infrastructure that they believe it is imperative
to move beyond the reactive management techniques of old
and assume a more proactive approach by employing performance
management tools.
Without the right tools, Knowledge, qualified team and experience,
managing performance can be tricky. Networks have become
increasingly complex as new applications and networking
technologies have been adopted. These multiple layers of
complexity have made it more difficult to gain visibility
and crucial insight into performance, which has led to a
proliferation of disparate, loosely integrated performance
data sources and management tools, each solving only a piece
of the performance management puzzle. This collection of
clutter has impeded access to meaningful, actionable information
and resulted in an unacceptable cost of ownership for today’s
enterprise organizations.

| A major stimulant to creative thinking is focused questions. There is something about a well-worded question that often penetrates to the heart of the matter and triggers new ideas and insights. |
